FREE MULCH AVAILABLE TO ARCADIA RESIDENTS ON FEBRUARY 11 AND 18
The City of Arcadia will offer free mulch to Arcadia City residents on February 11 and February 18 from 8:00am to 3:00pm at the Public Works Service Center located at 11800 Goldring Road. Mulch will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. Residents interested in the mulch should bring a container(s) for transport, gloves and safety glasses, and should be prepared to load the mulch into their vehicle themselves.
The recent windstorm produced a large quantity of debris which has been collected and transformed into mulch. Mulch has many benefits and is one of the most important ways to maintain a healthy garden. Mulch can be used in landscaping planter areas, gardens and around trees to hold in soil moisture.
Questions about this program may be directed to the Public Works Services Department at 256-6554.
